Construction Services
XI Properties works alongside J&S Construction, a fourth generation, family-owned and operated, General Contractor that employs approximately 75 of the finest carpenters, craftsmen and trade professionals in the industry. Calling Cookeville home since 1957, J&S Construction has built a diverse portfolio throughout the Upper Cumberland that includes new construction and renovation services for commercial, healthcare, religious, industrial and government facilities. For more than 63 years, J&S Construction has maintained one objective: Building Relationships by Building Trust. They have successfully completed more than 5,000 unique projects with over 75% of work coming from repeat clients.
J&S Construction has also been recognized numerous times for excellence in construction delivery and is the only contractor in Tennessee to be awarded the Achievement Award from the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence twice. J&S Construction is also the first contractor in Tennessee to complete LEED Silver, LEED Gold and LEED Platinum (v3) buildings and has designed/built more than 260,000 square feet of LEED-certified space.
The scope of supply by J&S Construction’s own employees can complete up to 65 percent of project, with electrical, mechanical and plumbing being subcontracted to other businesses.
